The Allegory of the cave

This was the first story we read in class. It was very interesting how the charaters where put. The way it started it caught my attention. Like how the people were chained up in a cave with only fire behind them. They can not see the reality or whats on the other side because there chained up and it prevent them seeing the real world. Then Socrates wants to help them arrive the thruth but he wonders whats going to happen to them when they get out. Would they face problems, what would they do when they get out from the cave , will they face pain, suffer, as like people like us do. Well for my point of view i think this story is saying that we can not always believe what we see and hear because not everyone on this earth is loyal. But people who tries to look beyond of it it will either embrace or not. Thats why we learn from our mistakes so we could not repeat them again.
